Location: Calderside Academy, Calder Street, Blantyre, G72 0AX.
Hours: 15 hours per week (7.5 hours as Cleaning Supervisor and 7.5 hours as Cleaner).
Work Pattern: Monday – Tuesday 4pm – 7pm and Wednesday – Friday 3pm – 6pm.
Hourly Rate: £13.80 per hour for the Cleaner and £14.12‑£14.27 per hour for the Cleaning Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Carry out the cleaning function on floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, sanitary areas, walls and related surfaces.
- Monitor standards of cleaning in line with specifications and COSHH regulations, reporting any issues to management.
- Set up rooms for let and act as responsible person on site for health and safety reporting.
- Supervise a team of Facility Assistants (Cleaning), including training, recruitment & selection, maximising attendance and briefing.
- Maintain building security and act as a key-holder as required.
