Hours: 35 hours per week
Work Pattern: Monday - Thursday 8:45am - 4:45pm and Friday 8:45am - 4:15pm
Salary: Β£32,337 - Β£33,231 annual salary
An opportunity has arisen to join the Amenity Services Team to undertake a diverse and interesting role and you will be responsible for assisting the Amenity Services Officer deliver a range of key operational tasks.
Working 35 hours a week, the postholder will primarily be responsible for:
- Assisting the Amenity Officer in delivering a range of professional training within the services.
- Overseeing contract estimating, assessing and logging property repairs.
- Undertaking a regular schedule of property inspections.
- Assisting the Amenity Services Officer deliver a range of professional operational training to grounds/street/bereavement & waste operatives.
- Assessing landscaped sites for adoption by Grounds Services.
- Carrying out compliance checks to ensure that operational staff are compliant with procedures.
- Developing and delivering training courses to fill any gaps identified within the service.
Applicants must be familiar with grounds/street cleansing/bereavement & waste operational practices or preferably have a recognised assessors qualification such as D32, D33 or D34.
You must have a working knowledge of Word and Excel IT packages and should possess comprehensive customer care experience.
The postholder will be required to drive to remote locations throughout South Lanarkshire and therefore a driving licence would be desirable.
Preferred candidates identified after the selection event process will be required to assist the recruitment team, if need be, to ensure timely completion of recruitment checks. If recruitment checks are not completed within a reasonable timescale, you may automatically be withdrawn from this position.
