South Lanarkshire Social Work Services are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Catering Assistants to provide a quality catering service within Blantyre LIFE care hub.

As a catering assistant, you will be responsible for preparing meals within recipe guidelines and undertaking all hygiene work practices in relation to the storage, preparation, cooking and service of food including the cleaning of food production areas, equipment and utensils.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. Therefore, it is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with adults.

An Overseas Criminal Records Check is required where applicants born outside the UK (Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland) or who have lived or worked outside the UK for a continuous period of three months in the past 10 years.
