Location: Biggar Municipal Hall, Kirkstyle, Biggar

Number of posts: 2

Hours: 17 hours per week

Duration: Fixed Term until 30th September 2026

Shift pattern: To be discussed at interview – to meet the letting programme for the Hall and cover functions at weekends.

Salary band: £13.80 per hour

Responsibilities

  • The successful applicant will be responsible for the security of the building, setting up and dismantling equipment as required, and ensuring a good standard of cleanliness throughout.
  • The role also includes processing related paperwork, liaising with internal and external customers, and maintaining a high standard of customer service at all times.
  • Work is required at Social Functions and events, including evenings and weekends; a flexible approach to work is essential.

Requirements

  • Must be able to provide a foreign police check if lived or worked abroad for 3 months or more consecutively in the last 10 years.
