Hours: 35hrs per week, permanent

Work Pattern: Monday - Thursday 8.45am - 4.45pm, Friday 8.45am - 4.15pm

Salary / Hourly Rate: £29,326 - £29,745

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join, or to further develop your career within the innovative South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Performance and Support Service Team. We are looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant, who would be responsible for line managing a team of admin staff, who liaise with internal colleagues and external agencies to arrange and provide a range of specialist and general clerical tasks.

This is a rewarding role which gives you opportunity for personal development and allows you to positively contribute towards South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnerships public service delivery. As an Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for the direct line management of a team and will deliver a diverse range of services including:

  • undertaking performance appraisals and managing attendance
  • identifying learning and development requirements for your team
  • planning, monitoring, and controlling workflow
  • running statistical reports for analysis
  • liaising with managers to provide effective support to ensure timescales and deadlines are met

Within this role, you will require excellent communication skills and be able to build positive working relationships with admin and operational staff and managers. You will be required to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and delegate work effectively. You should be flexible in your approach, to meet the demands of the post.
