Location: Auchentibber Centre, East Ave, Blantyre, Glasgow G72 0JB

Hours: 17.5 per week, temporary until 23 August 2026

Work Pattern: Monday, Tuesday, Alternate Wednesday 08:45 – 16:45 (1 hour lunch)

Salary / Hourly Rate: ÂŁ14,170 - ÂŁ14,371 per year, pay award as from April 2026 ÂŁ14,663 - ÂŁ14,872 per year

We are looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant, who would be responsible for line‑managing a team of admin staff, liaising with internal colleagues and external agencies to arrange and provide a range of specialist and general clerical tasks. This is a rewarding role which gives you opportunity for personal development and allows you to positively contribute towards South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnerships public service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Undertaking performance appraisals and managing attendance
  • Identifying learning and development requirements for your team
  • Planning, monitoring, and controlling workflow
  • Running statistical reports for analysis
  • Liaising with managers to provide effective support to ensure timescales and deadlines are met

Within this role, you will require excellent communication skills and be able to build positive working relationships with admin and operational staff and managers. You will be required to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and delegate work effectively. You should be flexible in your approach, to meet the demands of the post.
