SWRK 2691 - G2 Administration Assistant (Minute Taking)
Join to apply for the SWRK 2691 - G2 Administration Assistant (Minute Taking) role at South Lanarkshire Council.
We have an existing opportunity to join our South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Performance and Support Service Team. This is a permanent or temporary 35‑hour per week post (Monday – Thursday 08:45 – 16:45, Friday 08:45 – 16:15). Salary £28,340 – £28,742.
As an Administrative Assistant within the minute‑taking service, you will liaise with internal colleagues and external agencies to arrange, coordinate, complete and distribute minutes of meetings including Child Protection, Adult Support and Protection etc. You will attend the meetings (mostly via Microsoft Teams) and take a record of the meeting, utilising agreed templates, which will include the agreed care plan for the service user. You will also be responsible for updating the Child Protection Register and other electronic systems.
All applicants who meet the initial criteria will be required to undertake a minute‑taking test prior to attending for interview.

- Coordinate and distribute minute documents to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Excellent keyboard, oral and written communication skills.
- Previously taken minutes of meetings.
- Ability to meet statutory timescales and deadlines.
- Pass statutory checks – Level 1 Disclosure and any foreign police check if applicable.
