Location: Various positions – East Kilbride, Hamilton, and Lanark

An opportunity has arisen for social worker positions in South Lanarkshire’s Family Support Hubs.

Locality-based Family Support Hubs were launched on 27th September 2022 across South Lanarkshire, providing whole family support from pregnancy until 18 years. The aim is to reduce the escalation of problems to care and protection proceedings by offering earlier, preventative, and strengths-based support to families in need.

Applicants should have a good knowledge of The Promise, Whole Family Wellbeing Approach, Child Protection Procedures, and pre-birth assessments and interventions. An ability to work collaboratively with other agencies and families will also be essential.

  • Your experience providing holistic, whole-family support.
  • Your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
