- WEEK 1: Monday 5:15am - 1:15pm
- Tuesday 7:00am-2:15pm
- Wednesday 7:00am-4:00pm
- Thursday/Friday 7:00am-2:15pm (30 mins unpaid break)
- WEEK 2: Monday 1:15pm-9:30pm
- Tuesday 2:15pm-10:30pm
- Wednesday 1:45pm-10:15pm
- Saturday 8:00am-3:30pm
- Sunday 7:45am-3:30pm (30 mins unpaid break)

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Lifeguard to join our team at Dollan Aqua Centre. Reporting to the Duty Officer, you will play a key role in the safe and effective day-to-day operation of the centre. Responsibilities include pool supervision, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of customers, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and supporting the smooth running of the facility.
What You'll Do
- Supervise swimming pool activities and ensure customer safety at all times.
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies in line with operational procedures.
- Deliver excellent customer service and provide assistance to centre users.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility.
- Support the wider operational needs of the centre as required.
What We're Looking For
- A current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent is essential.
- A current First Aid Certificate is desirable.
- Previous experience in a lifeguarding, leisure, or customer service environment would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, proactive approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
