We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Recreation Assistant (Ice) to work at East Kilbride Ice Rink to help provide a safe and enjoyable experience for customers of all ages and abilities. You'll support ice rink operations, assist customers on and off the ice, maintain equipment and facilities, and play an important role in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for everyone.
What You'll Do
- Assist customers, ensuring their safety while using the ice rink.
- Carry out basic skate maintenance, fitting skates, and replacing laces.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility and prepare the venue for customer arrivals.
About You
- Must be a competent ice skater.
- Has a knowledge of health and safety in a customer-facing environment.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Team player with a flexible approach to work.
