Hours: 9.71 hours per week (annualised hours)
Work Pattern: Saturday and Sunday 9.30 am - 4.00 pm (30 mins unpaid break)
Hourly Rate: £18.34 - £18.85 per hour

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Ceramics Tutor with general experience and practical delivery skills in ceramic pottery. A working knowledge of wheel thrown ware as well as a range of slip cast and hand built production is essential. Technical requirements include knowledge of working with a kiln, recycling clay etc.
We are looking for a confident practitioner with the skills to teach both children and adult learners across a range of ability levels.
About the Role:
- You will assist in the delivery of our programme of progressive classes and courses, as well as one-off workshops and events.
- Our programmes run throughout the year and may take place during the daytime, evenings, and weekends.
- Classes are delivered across multiple venues in South Lanarkshire, supporting diverse age groups and learning needs.
- The ability to travel between locations is therefore highly desirable.

- Holds an appropriate qualification or can demonstrate relevant experience within the discipline.
- Can deliver engaging, structured sessions for children and adults.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is flexible and able to work across different locations.
- Is passionate about inspiring learners and developing confidence.
