Location: Carluke Leisure Centre, Carnwath Road, Carluke

Hours: 35 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 2 week pattern

  • Week 1: Monday 2pm - 10.30pm, Tuesday and Thursday 3pm - 10.30pm, Friday 5pm - 10.30pm
  • Week 2: Monday and Thursday 8am - 4pm, Tuesday 8am - 3pm, Wednesday 8am - 5pm

Salary Band: £25,767 - £26,041 per annum (pro rata)

Duration: Fixed term until 31 March 2027

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team of Lifeguards at Carluke Leisure Centre. You will be responsible to the Duty Officer for the daily operation of the Centre, undertaking a range of duties including pool supervision and cleaning.

REQUIREMENTS

A current Pool Lifeguard qualification is essential, with a first aid certificate and previous experience being desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervision of pool activities
  • To carry out cleaning to meet defined standards
  • To ensure facilities and equipment are safe and secure in accordance with procedures
