Hours: Post 1 – 10.75 hours

Week 1: Wednesday 4pm – 9.30pm

Week 2: Monday and Wednesday 4pm – 9.30pm, Friday 2pm – 7pm

Post 2 – 10.375 hours

Week 1: Tuesday 3.30pm – 9.30pm, Saturday 8.15am – 5pm

Week 2: Thursday 3.30pm – 9.30pm

Salary Band: £13.33 – £13.79 per hour

Duration: Fixed Term until 31 March 2026

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Receptionists to join our team at Carluke Leisure Centre.

The successful candidates will deal with customer enquiries, cash handling, issuing of receipts and preparing money for banking as well as operating our electronic booking system.

Previous experience of working in a customer orientated environment is desirable and/or experience of operating a computerised till system although full training will be provided.

You must have excellent communication and customer care skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To deal with all aspects of cash handling and reconciliation, issuing of receipts and preparation of monies for banking in accordance with procedures and standards.

To deal with customer enquiries providing assistance and information in line with South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture\’s customer care standards.

To carry out clerical duties to assist in the smooth running of the reception and other areas of the facility.

To promote all centre activities to customers.

To receive and distribute mail and goods.

Any other duties as required.
