South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking to recruit a qualified ceramics tutor with general experience and practical delivery skills in ceramic pottery. A working knowledge of wheel thrown ware as well as a range of slip cast and hand built production is essential, as well as the ability to teach both children and adult classes. Technical requirements include knowledge of working with a kiln, recycling clay etc.
We deliver an ongoing programme of progressive classes and courses as well as one off workshops and festivals. Our programmes run at various times including evenings and weekends and are delivered across the whole of South Lanarkshire to a wide range of age groups. The ability to travel throughout South Lanarkshire is desirable.
