Hours: 37 hours per week

Duration: Fixed Term until 30th September 2026

Indicative Shift Pattern: Monday - Saturday 8am - 4pm/8am - 5pm, cover at evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. To be discussed at interview.

Salary Band: Β£13.33 per hour

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Facilities Assistant to join the team at Lanark Memorial Hall. The successful applicant will be responsible for the security of the building, setting up and dismantling equipment as required, and ensuring a good standard of cleanliness throughout. They will also be required to process related paperwork as well as liaising with internal and external customers, ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times. Please note that you will be required to work at social functions and events. You must be available to work evenings and weekends. A flexible approach to work is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain security of the building.
  • Set up and dismantle equipment for events and functions.
  • Ensure cleanliness standards are met.
  • Process related paperwork.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers, providing high-quality customer service.
  • Work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
