Hours: 35 hours per week (2 week rota)

Salary Band: £24,891 – £25,165 per year (pro rata)

Shift Pattern:

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday 3pm – 10:30pm, Wednesday, Thursday 4pm – 10:30pm, Friday 1:30pm – 8pm

Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday 8am – 3pm, Thursday, Friday 8am – 2pm, Saturday 8am – 5:30pm

Duration: Fixed Term until 31st May 2026

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team of Lifeguards at Carluke Leisure Centre. You will be responsible to the Duty Officer for the daily operation of the Centre, undertaking a range of duties including pool supervision and cleaning.

REQUIREMENTS

A current Pool Lifeguard qualification is essential, with a first aid certificate and previous experience being desirable.

Supervision of pool activities

To carry out cleaning to meet defined standards

To ensure facilities and equipment are safe and secure in accordance with procedures
