Work Pattern: Monday to Friday

Salary / Hourly Rate: ÂŁ40,804 - ÂŁ46,991 per year

This is an exciting opportunity to have a key role in South Lanarkshire Council’s Community Engagement Team. The post will support the South Lanarkshire Council’s approaches to working with local partners and communities to tackle poverty and prevent negative outcomes.

The Postholder and their team will:

  • Support colleagues and parents to understand and address inequality across South Lanarkshire.
  • Support Neighbourhood Planning teams and Community Partnerships to tackle local issues relating to inequality.
  • Support the implementation of the Marmot Place Programme in South Lanarkshire.
  • Lead on the development and monitoring of the council’s Good Food Plan for South Lanarkshire.

Candidates will have experience of policy and working with data as well as practical experience of working with communities to take forward their own priorities.
