Overview: Community and Enterprise Resources require a motivated individual to supervise a team delivering a support service to the Facilities Service.

Location: Council Office, Almada Street, Hamilton, ML3 0AA

Hours & Work Pattern: 35 hours per week. Monday–Thursday 8:45am–4:45pm and Friday 8:45am–4:15pm.

Salary: £31,242 – £31,625 annual salary.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team delivering a support service to the Facilities Service.
  • Prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and demonstrate excellent customer care.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Support effective service provision by monitoring the IMPROVE Health & Safety audit system and Figtree accident system.
  • Apply health and safety knowledge and facilities service experience.
  • Make decisions, organise work, communicate effectively and manage workloads and staffing issues.
  • Maximise attendance, write and communicate procedures, and facilitate team meetings.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Good IT skills, including experience with Microsoft packages and the Fusion Iprocurement system.
  • Experience in Health & Safety and familiarity with Facilities Service preferred.
  • Experience in managing workloads, staffing issues, attendance and procedural communication.
