Vacancies within Secondary Schools for August 2026 (Permanent and Temporary Positions). It is South Lanarkshire Council’s mission to make positive meaningful changes in the lives of young people. We aim to provide an exceptional learning and working environment for pupils and staff and work in partnership with parents, support staff and other professionals. South Lanarkshire Council adopt an inclusive approach to education. Being offered employment as a teacher may result in you working with pupils in supported classes and ASN bases within our establishments. You will assist in the delivery of the curriculum and contribute to whole school initiatives, as appropriate, with our aim of high-quality learning and teaching at the core of our education provision. You will carry out the range of duties outlined in Annexe B of "A Teaching Profession for the 21st Century".

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic teachers to be part of our team. The post involves delivering the curriculum, contributing to whole-school initiatives, and fulfilling duties as outlined in Annexe B of "A Teaching Profession for the 21st Century". This may include work across primary and secondary provision as part of the education offer in South Lanarkshire.
