Position Overview: South Lanarkshire Council is looking to recruit an experienced Painter to support the delivery of various works programmes within Building Services. As a painter, you will have a flexible approach to managing varied workloads and will be required to carry out all associated painting and decorating tasks within new build, refurbishment and maintenance works. You will be time‑served with trade qualifications SVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds within your relevant discipline and must demonstrate sound practical technical competencies delivering high quality workmanship. You should have experience working in both commercial and domestic properties within the construction industry. Commitment to customer care is essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Prior experience of working to targets and predetermined timescales, as well as awareness of health and safety in the workplace, is required.
