Salary: £29,612 - £29,979 per year
A position has become available within the East Kilbride Business Unit for a Building Operative to support our plant/transport team and with responsibilities within the yard. We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual preferably with experience working in this environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our plant and transport team while supporting yard organisation, and transport logistics.
Key Duties Will Include:
- Organising and maintaining the yard, ensuring cleanliness and the implementation of our traffic management plan.
- Supporting plant and transport operations, including vehicle and plant checks.
- Delivering and collecting vehicles from our fleet depot.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures at all times.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working in a yard environment and supporting transport or plant operations is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to support various functions within the business.
