Employer: Housing & Technical Resources requires a Sheltered Housing Officer to join their dedicated pool team. This post is peripatetic and you may be required to travel within South Lanarkshire.
Responsibilities
- You will have experience of working with the elderly or other special needs client groups. Previous experience of working in a sheltered housing complex is desirable.
- Hold or work towards a relevant SVQ in Social Care or a similar qualification.
- Organise and prioritise workload effectively and adapt to changing priorities to deliver a quality service.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and liaise effectively with a variety of agencies.
- Administrate paperwork, maintain tenant records, liaise with various agencies, and comply with the Councilβs Health and Safety Policy within the complex.
- Undertake training and/or qualifications as required, including those introduced by the Scottish Social Services Council for employees in the housing support sector.
