Job Overview
South Lanarkshire Council requires an experienced Plasterer to support the delivery of various projects within Building Services. The role involves new build, refurbishment and maintenance plastering works, with a flexible approach to managing varied workloads.
Working Hours & Pattern
Hours: 37 hours per week. Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am – 1.30pm.
Salary
£38,506 – £39,606 per year.

Responsibilities
- Carry out all associated plastering works including new build, refurbishment and maintenance.
- Manage varied workloads and deliver high quality workmanship in both commercial and domestic properties.
- Work to project targets and pre‑determined timescales while maintaining awareness of health and safety.
- Be able to travel throughout South Lanarkshire as required.
Qualifications
- Time‑served with trade qualifications SVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in the appropriate trade discipline.
- Demonstrate sound practical technical competencies and experience in delivering high quality workmanship.
- Experience working within both commercial and domestic properties within the construction industry.
- Notifiable non‑licensed work Category B trained with asbestos would be beneficial.

The check must be translated into English and include an official statement confirming no pending criminal record proceedings.
