Overview
The South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership Performance and Support Services Team is looking for a Clerical Assistant to support two offices: Continuing Care and Aftercare (Jimmy Swinburne Centre, Blantyre) and Young Persons Services (Hamilton). This office‑based role involves 100% office work and is not eligible for agile working.
Responsibilities
- Front‑line reception service
- Data inputting to the Social Work case management system
- Word processing, petty cash, minute taking and distribution
- Arrange meetings using MS Office Outlook
- Maintain spreadsheets and support operational staff
- Answer and field phone calls
- Use multi‑function devices, scan, index documents
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of IT packages
- Experience working as a receptionist or in an office setting preferred (training will be provided)
- Strong communication skills, confident in dealing with people at all levels
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
