We have an exciting clerical opportunity to join our South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership, Performance and Support Services team, with a Clerical Assistant vacancy at the Newberry Rooney Centre in Hamilton. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to public service delivery. It offers career development and opportunities for progression within our administration team.
Location and Hours
- Location: Newberry Rooney Centre, Hamilton
- Hours: 17.5 hours per week, permanent
- Work Pattern: Monday, Tuesday and alternate Wednesday
- Salary / Hourly Rate: £12,883 - £13,531
Responsibilities
As a Clerical Assistant you would undertake a wide variety of administrative duties, including:
- Providing a front-line reception service
- Data input to our Social Work case management system
- Word processing and document management
- Minute taking and distribution
- Arranging meetings using the MS Office Outlook facility
- Maintaining spreadsheets
- Answering and fielding phone calls
- Using Multi Functional Devices, scanning and indexing documents
- Carrying out other general administrative tasks to support operational staff
Qualifications
We would welcome applications from people who have:
- Excellent knowledge of IT packages
- Experience of working as a receptionist or in an office setting is desirable; required training will be provided
