We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Catering Manager to lead our catering and bar services at the stunning Chatelherault Country Park. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated catering professional to manage all aspects of our café and hospitality service, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, customer service, health and safety, and commercial performance. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while leading and developing a dedicated catering team.
Location: Chatelherault Country Park, Ferniegair, Hamilton
Hours: 35 hours per week
Work Pattern: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday; Week 2: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Hours: 8am - 3pm / 10am - 5pm
Salary: £31,242 - £31,625 per annum
Duration: Fixed term until 31 March 2027
What You'll Do:
- Manage café operations.
- Develop menus and control budgets.
- Lead and motivate catering staff.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety legislation.
- Manage stock control, cash handling and purchasing.
- Support hospitality events, banqueting and weddings.
What You'll Bring:
- REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene qualification.
- Experience managing catering operations, including events and hospitality functions.
- Knowledge of food safety legislation and compliance.
- Strong leadership, organisational and customer service skills.
