South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team at South Lanarkshire Lifestyles, Fairhill, as a Senior Recreation Assistant. You will be responsible to assist the Duty Officer (Health and Fitness) in the management of the day to day operation and the delivery of the Health and Fitness operation of the facility.

The successful candidate will be working with our Team to assist in the delivery of health programmes within the local community. A current BACR (British Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation) or PSI (Postural Stability Instructor) qualification is desirable and a Level 3 or equivalent qualification is essential.

Location: Fairhill Lifestyles, Neilsland Road, Hamilton

Hours: 21 hours per week

Salary Band: £16.07 - £16.30

Shift Pattern:

  • Week 1: Monday 3:45pm - 9.15pm, Thursday 8:45am - 3:45pm, Friday 8.45am - 5:15pm
  • Week 2: Monday 3:45pm - 9.15pm, Thursday 2:15pm - 9:15pm, Friday 8.45am - 5.15pm

Duration: Fixed Term until 31 March 2027
