South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture is looking for a Catering Assistant to join their team at Chatelherault Country Park, Ferniegair, Hamilton.
Location and Hours
- Location: Chatelherault Country Park, Ferniegair, Hamilton
- Hours: 30 hours per week (fixed term until 31 March 2027)
- Shift pattern:
- Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 11 am–5 pm; Thursday 8 am–2 pm
- Week 2: Monday, Thursday, Sunday 8 am–2 pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday 11 am–5 pm
Salary: £13.80 per hour
Responsibilities
- Food preparation and service
- Function work (event catering)
- Cleaning duties while maintaining a healthy and safe working environment
Qualifications
- Previous catering experience desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- REHIS qualification desirable
- Foreign Police Check required if you have lived or worked abroad for 3 months or more in the last 10 years
