South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture is looking for a Catering Assistant to join their team at Chatelherault Country Park, Ferniegair, Hamilton.

Location and Hours

  • Location: Chatelherault Country Park, Ferniegair, Hamilton
  • Hours: 30 hours per week (fixed term until 31 March 2027)
  • Shift pattern:
    • Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 11 am–5 pm; Thursday 8 am–2 pm
    • Week 2: Monday, Thursday, Sunday 8 am–2 pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday 11 am–5 pm

Salary: £13.80 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Food preparation and service
  • Function work (event catering)
  • Cleaning duties while maintaining a healthy and safe working environment

Qualifications

  • Previous catering experience desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
  • REHIS qualification desirable
  • Foreign Police Check required if you have lived or worked abroad for 3 months or more in the last 10 years
