The predicted salary is between 14.27 - 14.27 £ per hour.

Housing & Technical Resources require a CCTV Operator to deliver the effective monitoring of CCTV to support and enhance safer environments. You will act as a primary link to all stakeholders including Police Scotland’s local Area Control Room and other Council departments to help detect and prevent crime and anti-social behaviour within the community. You will also be responsible for the out of hours security monitoring of Council properties and all other related issues.

You will be responsible for the security, operation and control of CCTV equipment within the Control Centre and ensure that all records are maintained in accordance with Operational Procedures. You will be required to demonstrate an ability to organise and prioritise your workload and have the ability to respond and adapt to changing priorities to ensure delivery of a quality service. Excellent communication and IT skills are essential.

Business Unit Hours: Various hours available

Work Pattern: To be discussed at interview

Hourly Rate: £14.17 - £14.27 per hour (increment will be available for unsocial hours)

Appraisal and Vetting: The preferred candidate will be required to complete a Non Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) check prior to a formal offer of employment. Candidates must have resided in the United Kingdom for at least 3 years.
