South Lanarkshire Council's Housing & Technical Services Repairs Team is seeking to recruit an Administration Assistant to undertake a variety of general administration duties, including the collecting and compiling of information, reporting directly to Senior Management in relation to draft responses for Elected Members and Official Complaints.
You will require to communicate and present information in a clear and concise manner, including liaising with internal and external customers while dealing with specialist Administrative activities in accordance with established procedures and standards. We welcome applications from people who are enthusiastic and motivated and have good keyboard, oral and written communication skills and a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to provide comprehensive support to our operational colleagues, undertaking a range of clerical tasks.
Hours: 35 hours per week, Permanent.
Location: Hamilton Business Unit.
Salary: £28,340 - £30,548 per year.

Responsibilities:
- Undertake a variety of general administration duties, including collecting and compiling information and reporting to Senior Management in relation to draft responses for Elected Members and Official Complaints.
- Communicate and present information clearly to internal and external customers; liaise with stakeholders while following established procedures and standards.
- Provide comprehensive clerical support to operational colleagues through a range of tasks and use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Meet tight deadlines and work as part of a team in a diverse environment with a flexible attitude to change.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Good keyboard, oral and written communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to learn and develop in the role; commitment to learning and improving performance.
