This role offers a development opportunity to expand experience within the financial environment. The successful candidate will work within the Procure to Pay section, supporting the clerical arrangements and demonstrating awareness of the team's financial activity.
Responsibilities
- Provide clerical support for the Procure to Pay function.
- Demonstrate numeracy skills to produce accurate and complex documents.
- Prioritise work with limited supervision and work productively in a high‑pressurised environment.
- Display competence in dealing with customers and undertaking a wide range of clerical duties.
- Take part in team activities, contribute improvement ideas and work collaboratively.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Evidence of experience and achievements in the five specific behaviours framework: Efficient, Flexible, Leading, Working with Others and Performing.
- Financial experience within a local authority finance setting.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financial Systems and office‑based packages.
Employment Details
Location: Council Headquarters, Hamilton
Hours: 35 hours per week, fixed term for 12 months
Salary: £28,012 – £28,358 per year
