Location: Woodlands Nursery Centre, Hamilton.
Hours: 18.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, not term time.
Work Pattern: Monday and Tuesday shifts between 8am - 6pm and every 2nd Wednesday.
Hourly Rate: £28.71 - £29.14 per hour.

South Lanarkshire Council are currently going through an exciting period of expansion of our Early Years Provision to meet the new children’s entitlement of 1140 hours of Early Learning and Childcare. We are now looking for highly motivated and innovative Depute Head of Establishments to help lead our expansion within our Early Years settings, supporting staff, children and families. You will require to be registered with SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council). The Depute Head of Establishment is accountable to the Head of Establishment and would undertake appropriate duties in line with the policies of South Lanarkshire Council.
Preferred candidates identified after the selection event process will be required to assist the recruitment team, if need be, to ensure timely completion of recruitment checks. If recruitment checks are not completed within a reasonable timescale, you may automatically be withdrawn from this position. Canvassing of Elected Members or employees of South Lanarkshire's Council directly or indirectly in connection with any appointment within the Council shall disqualify the applicant.
