We are looking for a motivated Administration Assistant to support Planning and Building Standards services in Almada Street, Hamilton.
Location: Council Offices, Almada Street, Hamilton, ML3 0AA
Hours and Schedule: 35 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 8:45 am to 4:45 pm, Friday 8:45 am to 4:15 pm
Salary: £29,326 – £29,745 per annum
Responsibilities:
- Register and process planning and building standards applications and related correspondence.
- Issue decisions, process payments, carry out banking duties and digitise planning applications.
- Prepare and issue neighbour notification notices.
- Plot the outline of planning application sites on a digitised mapping system.
- Maintain accuracy and meet tight deadlines while using integrated electronic workflow and case management system.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with integrated electronic systems and case management/DMS.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate transferable skills, achievements and attributes suitable for the role.
