Hours and Work Pattern:

  • Post 1 - 30 hours per week - Monday - Friday 8am - 2.30pm
  • Post 2 - 20 hours per week - Monday and Tuesday 7am - 3pm, Wednesday 7am - 1.30pm
  • Post 3 - 15 hours per week - Thursday and Friday 7am to 3.30pm

Hourly Rate: ÂŁ13.33 per hour

Community & Enterprise Resources provide catering and cleaning services in many locations and buildings across South Lanarkshire including nurseries, schools and council offices. We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic individuals to work within a catering team, delivering café/bistro style food to employees within South Lanarkshire Council Headquarters. Full training will be provided but catering and customer service experience would be desirable with the opportunity for training as a Barista Champion.

Preferred candidates identified after the selection event process will be required to assist the recruitment team, if need be, to ensure timely completion of recruitment checks. If recruitment checks are not completed within a reasonable timescale, you may automatically be withdrawn from this position.

Canvassing of Elected Members or employees of South Lanarkshire's Council directly or indirectly in connection with any appointment within the Council shall disqualify the applicant.

An Overseas Criminal Records Check is required where applicants born outside the UK (Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland) or who have lived or worked outside the UK for a continuous period of three months in the past 10 years.
