Housing & Technical Resources have an opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced individual to undertake the role of Compliance Officer, to assist in the delivery of maintenance, adaptations and projects within the Council’s Non-Housing general service portfolio of properties.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of maintenance, adaptations and projects within the Council’s Non-Housing general service portfolio of properties.
- Manage workloads within a multi-discipline team of building trade operatives.
- Directly supervise operations and provide line supervisor skills.
- Commit to customer care principles and work to targets and pre-determined timescales while ensuring health and safety.
- Use effective IT skills to produce reports, analyze data and demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Work to set budgets, targets and predetermined timescales, prioritise and programme building maintenance and legislative works.
Qualifications
- SVQ Level 2/3 qualification in an appropriate discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Sound knowledge and experience with building trade construction, maintenance, design and current building maintenance legislation.
- Experience of managing workloads within a multi-discipline team and line supervisor skills.
- Commitment to customer care, flexibility, ability to work to targets and pre-determined timescales, and commitment to health and safety.
- Effective IT skills with ability to produce reports, analyze data and demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with budgets, targets and timescales, ability to prioritise and programme building maintenance and legislative works.
