A vacancy has arisen for a Clerical Assistant within Finance and Corporate Resources. This role involves working in our busy HR absence and occupational health team, processing absence-related requests and referrals, while providing proactive support to employees and managers in relation to a wide range of HR-related enquiries and policy matters.
The workload of the team is deadline-focused; therefore, you must be proactive, reliable, and demonstrate the ability to organise and manage your workload effectively with strong attention to detail. You should also possess excellent communication skills and a personal desire and commitment to provide a high-quality customer-focused service.
The successful applicant must have excellent IT skills; be reliable and flexible, with the ability to work as part of a team in a highly professional manner, whilst exercising confidentiality and discretion at all times. The successful candidate will be given support and training to enable them to undertake this role to their full potential and to contribute to the continued development of the Council’s HR service.
