Location: Rigside and Rural Communities Nursery.

Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Work Pattern: Monday - Friday shifts between 8am - 6pm.

Education Resources are committed to the care and welfare of young people in a childcare environment. We are looking to recruit a Head of Establishment. This is an exciting opportunity to take on the Head of Establishment position within our Early Learning and Childcare facility.

The Appointable Candidate Must Hold the Following:

  • BA in Childhood Practice (or equivalent)
  • Registration with SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council)

The Head of Establishment is accountable to the Lead Locality Officer and would undertake appropriate duties in line with the policies of South Lanarkshire Council.

  • Please include your knowledge of developing a service, including service improvement, highlighting any key issues and challenges that you have faced.
  • As a Head of Establishment, you will have responsibility for a number of employees. What skills and abilities do you consider to be an effective manager and how would you describe your management style?

Nurseries are open from 8.00am to 6.00pm, 52 weeks per year; you would be required to carry out shift patterns within these hours.
