Location: Meldrum Gardens, East Kilbride
Hours and Working Pattern
Hours: 30 hours per week, permanent
Work Pattern: Early shift 7:15 am – 3:15 pm, Late shift 2:15 pm – 10:15 pm (combination of early and late shifts incorporating weekend working)
Salary / Hourly Rate
£24,307 – £24,495
Responsibilities
You will provide social care and support to older people, promoting their independence and well‑being. You will undertake delegated tasks as part of a team, demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement, and participate in all required training and ongoing learning and development.
Qualifications and Registration
- Ideally hold an SVQ in Social Care Level 2 or 3, or an HNC in Social Care, or be willing to work towards gaining these qualifications.
- Be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or in the process of registration; registration will be required within 6 months of commencing employment.
