We have an exciting clerical opportunity to join the South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership, Performance and Support Services team. This post is peripatetic; although based in the East Kilbride local office, you will operate across the six children’s houses within South Lanarkshire.
Location: East Kilbride
Hours: 20 hrs per week, permanent
Work Pattern: Monday – Friday 10 am – 2 pm
Salary: £14,724 – £15,464 per annum
Responsibilities
- As a Clerical Assistant you will provide administrative support to unit managers and care staff across the area, including:
- Electronic ordering and receipting duties
- Word‑processing, spreadsheet maintenance and general office clerical tasks
- Arranging meetings and managing MS Office Outlook calendars
- Processing annual archiving and maintaining equipment inventory
- Minute‑taking, distribution of minutes and other administrative duties to support colleagues
Qualifications & Skills
- We welcome applications from individuals who have:
- Excellent knowledge of IT packages and a high level of computer literacy
- Strong organisational and communication skills and confidence to interact with people at all levels
- Flexibility to work a peripatetic schedule and adaptability to changing locations
- Desirable: valid driving licence and ability to use a South Lanarkshire pool car (arrangements can be made)
