South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Lifeguard to join our team at Dollan Aqua Centre. Reporting to the Duty Officer, you will play a key role in the safe and effective day-to-day operation of the centre.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervise swimming pool activities and ensure customer safety at all times.
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies in line with operational procedures.
- Deliver excellent customer service and provide assistance to centre users.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility.
- Support the wider operational needs of the centre as required.
What We're Looking For:
- A current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent is essential.
- A current First Aid Certificate is desirable.
- Previous experience in a lifeguarding, leisure, or customer service environment would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, proactive approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Salary: £27,240 - £27,529 per year
