South Lanarkshire Council are looking for dedicated full-time staff to join our teams, delivering a wide range of vital environmental improvements across the district. As part of our frontline team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the places where people live, work and play. From green space maintenance to street cleansing your work will directly improve quality of life for thousands of residents.
Responsibilities
- Carry out environmental maintenance and street cleansing activities across the district.
- Work as part of a team to improve and maintain public spaces.
- Adhere to health and safety requirements and wear appropriate outdoor clothing for all weather conditions.
Qualifications and Attributes
- An enthusiastic, reliable individual with a strong work ethic.
- Committed to public service and community wellbeing.
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- A team player with good communication skills.
- Environmental services experience is welcome but not essential.
- Willing to be part of something bigger – helping keep South Lanarkshire clean, green and thriving.
- A current full UK driving licence would be desirable but not essential for this post.
