Seasonal Grounds Services Operative – Make a Real Impact in South Lanarkshire. South Lanarkshire Council are looking for dedicated staff to join our teams, delivering a wide range of services across the district. You will be part of a frontline team, maintaining and enhancing places where people live, work and play. Your work will directly improve quality of life for thousands of residents, from green space maintenance to street cleansing.

Location: Various locations within South Lanarkshire

Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: £25,715 - £27,645

Contract: Temporary for 6 months (a number of posts being recruited)

• Maintain and enhance public spaces, green spaces and streets in the South Lanarkshire area
• Contribute to street cleansing and other environmental services as required
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Be a team player with good communication skills

Qualifications & Requirements

• An enthusiastic, reliable individual with a strong work ethic
• Committed to public service and community wellbeing
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Environmental services experience is welcome but not essential
• Willing to be part of something bigger – helping keep South Lanarkshire clean, green, and thriving
• Current full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential
