Location: Stonelaw High School, 140 Calderwood Road, Rutherglen, G73 3BP
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Work Pattern: Monday – Friday 7.30am - 4pm plus 3 hours worked contracted overtime per week 6pm - 9.30pm to cover school lets.
Hourly Rate: ÂŁ14.02 - ÂŁ14.33 per hour
We are looking to recruit a Secondary Janitor at Stonelaw High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of all documentation relating to the janitorial and cleaning function within the premises.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring unit grounds are kept in a safe and tidy order, free from dangerous articles ensuring Health and safety of staff and visitors.
- To monitor the activities of lessees and contractors reporting any issues to line manager.
- To log, monitor and report all damage/faults in relation to the fabric and fixtures.
- To liaise with external contractors and lessees, ensuring all Health and Safety and security procedures are adhered to.
- To effectively communicate with the Facilities Manager; Head of Establishment/lessees and Team Members to ensure the customer needs are met on a daily basis.
