Location: Stonehouse Lifestyles, 2 Udston Mill Road, Larkhall, ML9 3JL
Hours: 17.5 hours per week over a 10‑week pattern: Post 1 – Week 1 Monday‑Wednesday 8:00‑15:00; Week 2 Monday‑Tuesday 8:00‑15:00. Post 2 – Week 1 Thursday‑Friday 8:00‑15:00; Week 2 Wednesday‑Friday 8:00‑15:00.
Hourly Rate: £13.33 per hour
Working pattern: 5 days per week, 10 weeks, temporary until 31 March 2026.
Description
Community & Enterprise Resources provides catering and cleaning services across South Lanarkshire. Duties include carrying out cleaning on floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, sanitary areas and walls, using a buffing machine as per schedule, ensuring the security of the building and acting as a key‑holder when required.
Responsibilities
- Clean floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, sanitary areas and walls.
- Operate buffing machine to clean floors and other surfaces.
- Report to the Cleaning Supervisor and monitor standards of cleaning in line with specification and COSHH regulations.
- Maintain building security and act as key‑holder.
- Remove refuse and handle waste ensuring appropriate disposal.
- Report any difficult issues to management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Overseas Criminal Records Check is required for applicants born outside the UK or who have lived/worked outside the UK for continuous three months in the past ten years.
- Provide evidence of the Overseas Criminal Record Check translated into English and confirmed by an official statement that no criminal record or pending proceedings exist.
