Overview
South Lanarkshire Council Enterprise and Sustainable Development Service are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced individual with a background in project planning and implementation on a fixed term basis to assist in the delivery of a range of capital investment, physical regeneration and partnership activities. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a range of physical development and infrastructure projects focused mainly but not exclusively within our town centres.
Responsibilities
- As a Development Officer you will assist in the preparation of project briefs, business cases and project programmes; monitor contract expenditure; manage resources, including external agencies, and coordinate input from a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Support partnership working and operate within a degree of uncertainty and complexity.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience in coordinating and managing capital / infrastructure projects; ability to demonstrate how skills and experience make you a suitable candidate for this role.
- Aptitude for partnership working and flexible/agile working arrangements may be discussed.
- Location: Council Offices, Almada Street, Hamilton, ML3 0AA; Hours: 35 per week; Work Pattern: Monday – Thursday 8.45am – 4.45pm and Friday 8.45am – 4.15pm; Salary: £50,622 – £51,370; This is a temporary post.
