Responsibilities

  • Carry out cleaning functions on floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, sanitary areas, walls, etc., in line with a pre-determined schedule.
  • Use cleaning equipment such as buffing machines where required, and report to the Cleaning Supervisor.
  • Ensure the security of the building and act as a key-holder as required.
  • Monitor cleaning standards in line with specifications and COSHH regulations; report any difficult issues to management.
  • Remove refuse and manage waste with appropriate disposal.
  • Assist with general cleaning duties as part of a team across locations served by Community & Enterprise Resources.

Contract and schedule

  • Hours: 7.5 hours per week, term-time basis.
  • Work pattern: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 8:30 am.
  • Hourly rate: ÂŁ13.33 per hour.
  • Location: Kirkfieldbank Primary School, 144 Riverside Road, Kirkfieldbank, ML11 9JS.
