Role Overview
Facilitates catering for two primary schools: David Livingston Memorial Primary School, Morven Avenue, Blantyre, G72 9JY; Udston Primary School, Thornhill Road, Hillhouse, Hamilton, ML3 9PS.
Hours: 10 hours per week on a term-time basis. David Livingston Primary – permanent. Udston Primary – temporary until 31 December 2026.
Work pattern: David Livingston Primary – Monday to Friday 8:00 – 10:00; Udston Primary – Monday to Friday 7:30 – 9:30.
Hourly rate: £13.80.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals within recipe guidelines and undertake all hygiene work practices related to the storage, preparation, cooking and service of food.
- Clean food production areas, equipment and utensils.
Requirements & Conditions
- Qualified for the PVG Scheme or will undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to formal offer.
- Registered under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Scotland Act 2020 and meet the Disclosure Scotland Act 2020 requirements for regulated roles.
- Overseas Criminal Records Check required for applicants born outside the UK or who have lived or worked abroad for a continuous period of three months within the past 10 years.
