Job Description
LECTURER – HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE
Temporary, Part-Time
£41,833 – £50,359 per annum, pro rata
We are seeking to expand our register of part-time, temporary Lecturers in Health & Social Care.
Working as a member of a committed and dynamic team, you must have knowledge of current policy and practice issues in social care/health care in addition to relevant work experience in social work/health care. You will be highly organised with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Educated to degree level or equivalent in an appropriate field, you may additionally hold appropriate assessor and verifier qualifications.
Experience of conducting work placement visits/assessments and SVQ direct observation would be advantageous. Salary placing on the above salary scale will be dependent on previous experience and qualifications.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by South Lanarkshire College.
