We’re working with a forward-thinking housing association looking to appoint an Assistant Financial Accountant to support their Finance Manager across treasury, VAT, cashflow forecasting and financial reporting. This is a great opportunity for a part-qualified accountant (AAT/ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CIPFA) or someone qualified by experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced finance environment.
Role responsibilities
- Cashflow forecasting and treasury support
- VAT, CIS and regulatory submissions
- Assisting with monthly and annual accounts
- Supporting audits and financial controls
- Producing accurate financial reporting and reconciliations
- Balance Sheet reconciliation
What we’re looking for
- Strong technical accounting and reporting experience
- Good Excel and analytical skills
- Organised, accurate and proactive approach
- Experience within a regulated sector desirable
