Part time. Permanent role. Grade: Teachers Payscale M1-M6, 52 weeks a year. Salary: £32,916-£45,352 (FTE). Working Pattern: 0.4 FTE. 8.30am-3.30pm Thursday and Fridays.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for pupils and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
- To monitor and support the overall progress and development of pupils as a teacher.
- To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides pupils with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
- To contribute to raising standards of pupil attainment.
- To share and support the schools' responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal growth and enjoyment.
- To assist in the development of appropriate syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, marking policies and teaching strategies in the Curriculum Area and Department.
- To contribute to the achievement of the school’s development plan and its implementation.
- To plan and prepare lessons.
- To contribute to the whole school’s planning activities.
- Consider promoting and safeguarding pupils’ welfare as paramount, and action in accordance with the responsibility ‘in loco parentis’.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK (or equivalent certification in other countries).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) or equivalent teaching qualification. Alternatively, a degree in a relevant subject plus a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- Enhanced DBS check (in the UK) for safeguarding children.
- Evidence of participation in further professional development or study.
- Basic first aid training.
